2 hours for a light tan.

3-4 hours for a medium tan.

5-6 hours for a darker tan.

This means you are in charge of your desired tan.

Please Note – The solution will continue to develop after wash off, until it reaches its maximum developing time. LA Fast Tan has been tested on all skin types and left for various time periods with fantastic results.

Spray Tan preparation:

1.) Buff away dry skin 24 hours before treatment with a gentle exfoliator or body brush. This will make your tan last much longer by revealing new skin.

2.)Wax at least 24 hours before treatment, ideally 48 hours before to allow the pores to close.

3.)Shave at least 24 hours before treatment and apply a moisturiser to replenish dry skin.

4.)Moisturise generously the day before, ideally overnight. This will prevent dryness and provide the perfect tanning base.

5.)Rinse off any products, perfume, oils, moisturisers and make up before attending your spray tanning appointment- do not use soap.

6.)Dark, loose cotton and jersey fabrics and dark underwear without tight waistbands are ideal to wear before and after your spray tan. Some of the guide colour can be easily removed by tight fitting clothing so it is best to keep clothing loose.

Maintaining your Tan

Daily moisturizing after your tan is the key to prolong that sun-kissed look. The best moisturizer should be a tan extender (with added DHA) to extend your sunless tan without drying out your skin, and to promote a healthy glow. The moisturizer, however, should not be oil-based and has to contain less than 1% AHAs. AHAs are natural exfoliants – and it you were to use a moisturizer with more than 1% AHA, it would REMOVE the tan from the body.
• Do not rub but pat the skin dry after showering or bathing.
• Avoid swimming pools, as chlorine will bleach your tan.
• Have regular top-ups to keep your skin tanned and to build and extend the life of the tan
